Looking for a wine bar to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. Located at 128 Meserole St. in Williamsburg, the new addition is called Apollonia.
Apollonia is the latest venture from the team behind Williamsburg's Walter Foods and Walter's in Fort Greene. A hybrid cafe/wine bar, Apollonia opens early most days to serve coffee and breakfast. In the evenings, the spot becomes a full-service wine bar serving a menu of Mediterranean-inspired small and large plates, like warm olives, fava bean croquettes and whole branzino. The wine list features more than a dozen wines from around the world, and Apollonia offers weekday happy hour specials.
With a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar has already made a good impression.
S C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 30, wrote, "Great neighborhood spot. All-day cafe plus great dinner. Healthy food, awesome wine."
Yelper Michael B. added, “We tried almost all the medium plates and shared it all. Everything was delicious. We are definitely going back soon."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Apollonia is open from 7 a.m.–11 p.m. on Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
