Tapas fans, take heed: There's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called Shilling Canning, the fresh addition is located at 360 Water St. SE in Capitol Hill.

Locally sourced ingredients make up dishes featuring oysters, grilled country sausage, duck confit, mushroom tarts and more. There's also a wine list, in addition to cocktails and desserts.

The newcomer has made a decent impression thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.

Justin P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 11, wrote, "Great opening night experience! ... For food they recommend five to six small plates. We ended up getting six. I think five would've been more than enough, but it depends on which ones you get as they are of varying size."

Yelper Le Système D. added, “Came in for dinner and the place was packed. Had the blue crab app, fluke crudo, deviled eggs, duck confit, soft-shell crab, Surryano ham and grilled sausage. Everything was excellent and looking forward to coming back.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. The business is open from 5 a.m.–10 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 5 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)
