KOMO News has learned that three more patients developed Aspergillus infections after being exposed at Seattle Children’s Hospital. A doctor at the hospital revealed to KOMO in May the mold had led to two infections and one death. “We have had a patient die of an Aspergillus infection in the past,” Dr. Mark Del Becarro told KOMO in May. Seattle Children’s Hospital is now saying five patients were infected and one patient died.
