16th Annual National African American Male Wellness 5K Walk & Run

This is the largest health initiative for minorities in the state of Ohio. In recent years, the AAWalk has hosted more than 20,000 people, and conducted more than 800 individual health screenings in a single day. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness for preventable health diseases. The 5K is our signature event and is free to attend and to participate for all ages!

This group is made up of Columbus Jazz musicians who are also parents of children of a variety of ages. Jazz Bear, an oversized stuffed bear that is the PBJ & Jazz mascot, will preside over this fun concert for all ages. The musical event is free and follows family story time at 11 a.m. in the main branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket.
