Looking for some New American fare? A new restaurant has you covered. The newcomer to Capitol Hill's Eastern Market, called Eat BRGZ, is located at 250 Seventh St. SE.
Eat BRGZ features made-to-order burgers. Customers can also choose from the restaurant's list of signature burgers, which include a chorizo, bell peppers and jalapeño burger, and one with applewood smoked bacon, red onion and American cheese. MIlkshakes and fresh-cut french fries are also on offer.
With a four-star rating out of 32 reviews on Yelp so far, Eat BRGZ has gotten a solid response thus far.
Vesper H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 16, wrote, "The 'mixed-in' burger concept is very interesting because it does give you loads of options, and I like flavorful patties. I got the Greek one and they don't skimp on the ingredients. There were good-sized olive chunks and sun-dried tomatoes. Having a cauliflower/coconut flour bun is also kind of cool."
Yelper Melissa G. added, “We tried the Greek with chicken, the barbecue with beef and the original with the impossible meat. All were really good and had distinct tastes. The barbecue was probably my favorite.”
Eat BRGZ is now open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, so stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood.
