Shine Distillery and Grill has elevated pub food crafted by chef Julian Solomon. The menu features sharable dishes like the pan-roasted brussels sprouts, the cheese board and the Distiller's board, which comes with a selection of charcuterie and local cheeses, house-made crackers and seasonal preserves.
The eatery also serves up wine, draft beer and a variety of cocktails like the Paper Plane — a medley of Four Roses bourbon, Aperol, Amaro and lemon juice.
With a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Deric M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 25, wrote, "I ordered the Distillery Burger with pimento cheese, and wow — it had so much flavor. It was a decent portion and the fries that came along were nice and crispy."
And Little M. added, "Food was on point. The pretzel was so good — crispy/chewy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside; the dipping sauces were also crazy good."
