Coney Island Hot Weiners makes Delano debut, with hot dogs and morePhoto: Bill L./Yelp

Hot dog fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called Coney Island Hot Weiners, the new addition is located at 1001 W. Douglas in Delano.

Coney Island Hot Weiners was founded in Pennsylvania in 1926, and 93 years later, there are locations across the country. The spot offers hot dogs, tamales and chili. On the menu, look for three-way chili (chili, beans and spaghetti), the Frito pie or the single cheese hot dog.

Coney Island Hot Weiners has received mixed reviews so far, but it's still early days.

Keenan P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 26, wrote, "First day open! Fast, simple and tasty. Friendly staff, comfortable seating. A pleasant lunch."

Yelper Lisa C. added, "This place can hopefully work out its seasoning issues and perhaps opt for some bigger hot dogs. I'd give it another try after the kinks are worked out, but as it stands, it wouldn't be my top choice for when I get a hankering for a hot dog."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Coney Island Hot Weiners is open from 10:30 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
