CRMD brings ice cream and sorbet to Short NorthPhoto: Angela L./Yelp

A new spot to score ice cream and sorbet has set up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Short North/Italian Village, called CRMD, is at 1190 N. High St.

Inviting its customers to "getCRMD," this spot offers a dozen flavors of colorful premium ice cream (including Buckeye, salted choco pretz and Viet coffee) in puffles, a spherical waffle cone, as well as traditional cones and cups. It also offers sorbet in lemon, mango, raspberry and pomegranate blueberry.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 27 reviews on Yelp so far, CRMD is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Emily G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 28, wrote, "The staff is friendly, and you can sample the flavors. The texture is smooth and creamy; not too rich or overly sweet. Flavors are pretty normal, but some come in fun colors. Portions are pretty big. Price is fair for the quality, portion and location."

And Gwen W. wrote, "In the words of Joey Russo in "Blossom": WHOA!! Talk about a tasty dessert option."

CRMD is open noon-2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-10 p.m. on Sunday, so stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood.
