A new Peruvian and Latin American spot, offering sandwiches and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 55 Market Place in Downtown, the fresh arrival is called Poyoteca Peruvian Rotisserie.
Formerly known as Chicken Rico, the newly redesigned Poyoteca Peruvian Rotisserie offers chicken and slow-roasted beef brisket meals, sandwiches and gourmet bowls, according to its website. On the updated menu, look for the marinated filet mignon bowl filled with rice, beans, steak fries and plantains.
According to the business' Facebook page, "[This eatery offers] Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken [originating from a] 50-year-old family recipe."
With a 4.5-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, Poyoteca Peruvian Rotisserie seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
