Debra T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 9, wrote, "Fish and shrimp were excellent. It was their first night open and didn't get all the sides they were supposed to have. Fish and shrimp were worth the trip."
Yelper Edward O. added, “This is the best place in Las Vegas for real Southern food. The food is priced perfectly and you'll get huge portions. ... My fried catfish was perfect."
Sam's Southern Eatery is open 7 a.m.-10 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
