Social media star Bryce Hall was arrested in Las Vegas and now faces felony coercion involving domestic violence and misdemeanor domestic battery charges, according to court records. The case stems from an alleged incident in July, and Hall was due in court Tuesday morning as the legal fallout from the accusations continued to unfold.
Court records accuse Hall of using or threatening physical force against someone in a domestic dispute, as reported by TMZ. The alleged incident happened July 27, but charges weren't filed until August 28, roughly a month later. A judge then issued a warrant for Hall's arrest on September 10 and ordered him to stay away from the alleged victim, identified in court records as Maria Palafox, who goes by Mika Lafuente on social media.
Hall wasn't actually taken into custody until September, and he was released from custody without posting bail, the outlet's report notes. Two days before the alleged incident, on July 25, Hall had posted a social media video announcing his split from Lafuente, describing the breakup as not pretty and wishing her the best.
Representative Denies Allegations, Threatens Legal Action
Hall's representative has pushed back hard against the charges, denying the allegations outright. Per the same account, the representative said, “These allegations are false, and we look forward to the facts coming out in court.” The representative also said legal action would be taken against those spreading what they called false and defamatory claims.
On the other side, a source told the outlet that Lafuente claims to have documented injuries she says Hall inflicted. That detail has not been independently verified beyond the source's account relayed to TMZ, and the specifics of what documentation exists have not been made public.
Not Hall's First Brush With Las Vegas Police
This isn't the first time Hall has run into trouble with law enforcement in Las Vegas. In January 2023, Hall was arrested outside XS nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas after he allegedly punched a security guard in the head, according to KTNV. That confrontation happened after Hall was kicked out of the club during a Calvin Harris performance, and he was cited for two counts of battery and one count of trespassing.
Domestic Violence Remains a Persistent Issue in Nevada
The charges against Hall land amid continued concern over domestic violence in Nevada. Nevada recorded 45 domestic-violence-related homicides in 2025, down from 49 previously reported, according to 8 News Now. Of those, 40 happened in Clark County, home to Las Vegas.
SafeNest CEO Liz Ortenburger said the decline doesn't mean the crisis is easing. “This number is still excessively high,” Ortenburger said, noting that between 70% and 80% of Nevada's population lives in Clark County, which helps explain why the county accounts for the bulk of the state's cases.
Hall's case remains in its early stages, with his court appearance Tuesday morning marking one of the first public steps in the proceedings. No outcome from that hearing has been reported.
