A new seafood market, offering seafood and more, has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Tampa Heights, called Stones Throw, is located at 304 W. Seventh Ave.
From the creators of Armature Works come this spinoff oyster bar with chef Dean at the helm. Stones Throw offers fresh seafood and tasty cocktails with river views and great service. The menu features a crab roll, Singapore chili shrimp and oysters on the half shell. A full bar stocks libations, ranging from beers to bubbles and rose.
The new seafood market has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Todd S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 2, wrote, "There's a great menu of spritzers, cocktails, tequila and other liquors. I really enjoyed "Ze Crazy Eyes," which was a spicy herbal tequila drink."
Yelper Harris M. added, "Our taste buds fell in love with the tentacles & tots, raw oysters and the delicious fish dip. We ended with different drinks each but loved the Wimbledon Spritz."
