A new Cajun and Creole restaurant and bar, specializing in seafood, has arrived in the neighborhood. Called The Crab Station, the fresh newcomer is located at 2813 Commerce St. in Deep Ellum.

The Crab Station features an extensive selection of fresh seafood, along with a sizable drink list of cocktails, beer and wine. On the menu, look for options like boiled king crab legs, crawfish sacks, fried jumbo gulf shrimp with fries, calamari strips, lobster pan roast and charbroiled oysters.

So far, The Crab Station has gotten off to a solid start, with a four-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp.

Jessica S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new establishment on July 17, wrote, "Such awesome happy hour deals. We tried half a dozen of the Cajun garlic Parmesan oysters, which were to die for."

Yelper Joe O. added, “We came in from out of town with a big appetite, and the service and food was great. Will recommend to all our friends."

Swing on by to give it a try for yourself: The Crab Station is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. daily.
