Mayor Shares Appeal for Information
In a Facebook post Saturday, Palmer said she had spoken with the victim’s mother, who is seeking information from witnesses or anyone else who may know something about the incident, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Palmer did not identify the victim or say who was involved.
Palmer expressed sympathy for the young man and his family in the post. She did not provide a motive or further details about the alleged assault.
Police Details Remain Limited
Palmer’s statement asks anyone with video or other information to contact Interim Chief of Police Quincy Hamilton. The Star-Telegram reported that the Willow Park Police Department had not immediately responded to its request for more information at the time it reached out.
Where to report an assault
For crime victims seeking official guidance, the Parker County District Attorney’s Office advises people who live within city limits to report crimes to their city police department.
