Rocky is 1.5 years old, weighs about 55 pounds, and is the happiest pup you will ever meet. He is always smiling! He’s very eager to please, so he’s mastering all of his basic commands like a champ in his current foster home. He knows sit, down, stay, come and shake. He also walks great on a loose leash and is house- and crate-trained. Rocky can be a bit shy initially around new people, but he opens up very quickly and is quick to roll on his back wanting some belly rubs. Rocky also loves playing in his backyard. He would do great in a home with another dog companion or just alone.

Rosey is a darling female Australian shepherd mix being kept at Stop the Suffering.

Rosey is a social butterfly, and she gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. She's already house-trained, her vaccinations are up to date and she is spayed.

Rosey is 2-4 years old and 45 pounds. True to the breed, she's a bundle of energy. She is also crate-trained and knows how to sit and come. She needs continued work on manners. She is pretty jumpy and mouthy when playing, so she will be best in a home with children ages 8 and over, and will definitely need an active family as well.

Piper loves walks and is great on a leash. She is all grown up, so no crate needed for this responsible pup. Piper loves kids of all ages and lounges about most of the day, plays catch in the yard or wrestles her squeaky fish. It would be best for her to have a fenced yard.

Her favorite activities include relaxing on the couch, getting love and car rides. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or dogs but warms up pretty quickly and loves to get attention once she trusts you.

Jethro is nearly a year-and-a-half old and weighs about 65 pounds. He loves to play with other dogs and would need a high-energy pal to keep up with him if there is a dog in the home. He is also crate-trained. He is still very mouthy but is working with a trainer on this behavior. That said, he needs a home with no children under the age of 12. He will also require continued obedience classes after his adoption. Oh, yeah: He can jump a 5-foot fence, so his forever home should have one that's at least a foot taller than that!
