'It's a complete violation': Burglar robs West Seattle senior center
WEST SEATTLE, Wash. -- The Executive Director of the Senior Center of West Seattle says he feels violated after a burglar broke into the center's building while it was closed for the night. Lyle Evans says over the course of approximately 33 minutes, the burglar tried to avoid several surveillance cameras after breaking into the senior center's front door.

Backyard fire eventually spreads, burning 2 Seattle homes
A fire that apparently started just outside a home spread to burning two homes in Seattle's Mount Baker neighborhood Tuesday evening. Firefighters received the original call around 9:45 p. m. for flames coming from the back of a home in the 3200 block of 37th Place South, according to David Cuerpo with Seattle Fire.
