A new spot to score seafood has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Vernick Fish, the new addition is located at 1876 Arch St. in Logan Square and comes courtesy of James Beard Award-winning chef Greg Vernick.
Located on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel, Vernick Fish offers a new twist on the oyster bar, according to Eater Philadelphia. On the menu, look for dishes like lobster-stuffed lettuce cups, croquettes drizzled with shrimp aioli and grilled black sea bass.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Pinky P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 13, wrote, "I had the sea bass and my husband had the chicken. Both were tasty. But the dessert was beyond our expectations. We got the tres leches [cake] and the chocolate torte."
Vernick Fish is open from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. for lunch and 5–10 p.m. for dinner.
