A new restaurant specializing in Argentine-style Italian cuisine has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Go Nonna, the fresh addition is located at 10-50 44th Drive in Long Island City.
Located just a block from the Court Square subway station, Go Nonna offers a full menu of dishes that can be found in Italian restaurants across owner Lorenzo Garcia Di Leo's native Argentina.
The menu at this cozy spot, which currently has seating for 15, features starters like veal meatballs over polenta, fritto misto with shrimp, calamari and zucchini and eggplant Parmesan. For pasta, Go Nonna offers pappardelle with short rib ragu, Roman-style bucatini carbonara, penne with vodka sauce and more.
Family-sized portions of select dishes are available for parties of five or more, and the restaurant is currently BYOB.
Go Nonna has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 21 reviews on Yelp.
