New Greek spot ELA Greek Eats debuts in VenicePhoto: ELA Greek Eats/Yelp

Hungry? A new neighborhood Greek spot has you covered. Located at 307 Lincoln Blvd. in Venice, the fresh arrival is called ELA Greek Eats.

The newcomer is a project courtesy of restaurateur Carlos Tomazos, the LA Times reports, owner of Santa Monica's recently shuttered Inotheke. On the menu, look for fast-casual eats like Greek salad, chicken souvlaki, classic baklava and lamb gyros with tahini sauce. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of 43 reviews on Yelp so far, ELA Greek Eats seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Rebecca S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Aug. 10, wrote, "Finally some authentic Greek around here! This is a super casual hole-in-the-wall type place with great food. ... Everything was super fresh, healthy, clean and had a homemade feel."

And Yelper Emmet M. added, “I grew up in a very Greek neighborhood in New York and this was, I feel very confident saying, the best lamb gyro I've ever had.”

Head on over to check it out: ELA Greek Eats is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. daily.
