Looking to check out a new pop-up? Look no further than this new arrival. Called Man vs Fries, the new addition is the inaugural restaurant at new pop-up destination Town Popup, located at 2307 International Blvd.
Taking over the space of the shuttered Temple Club, Town Popup features a rotating lineup of local pop-ups, the first being Man vs Fries. Man vs Fries serves up signature french fry creations, from orders of loaded asada fries to fry-stuffed burritos. Try the Texas Cowgirl Fries, with your choice of straight, curly or waffle-cut potatoes topped with bacon, cheese, barbecue sauce, onion rings and either carne asada or pollo asado; the Socal Burrito, filled with fries, guacamole, queso, Hot Cheetos and your choice of meat; and for dessert, fried cookie dough and fried cheesecake.
The newcomer has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 43 reviews on Yelp.
