A new cocktail bar and traditional American spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Sabin, called Holy Goat, is located at 1501 N.E. Fremont St.

Holy Goat serves up a variety of burgers, which includes the teriyaki burger topped with bacon, grilled onions, swiss cheese and tomato. The menu also features seafood dishes, spinach salads and a slew of appetizers.

Or dig into its "seven-dollar breakfast," which comes with eggs and a selection of two sides, which range from sausage links to English muffins.

The new arrival has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Mitch H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 4, wrote, "The Holy Goat, for a relatively new bar, has roots as deep as the best local places Portland has to offer. The proprietors know the city and that's what makes it wickedly friendly, cleverly off-beat and cozy as it gets. The food is outstanding."

And Brook W. wrote, "I love this place. Perfect neighborhood stop-off for either brunch (no wait) or happy hour."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Holy Goat is open from 9 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.
