A new spot to score pizza and more has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Old Town-Chinatown, called Zapapizza, is located at 503 W. Burnside St.
Zapapizza serves up thick crust pan pizza with a variety of toppings. On the menu, expect to see items like pepperoni pizza, al pastor pizza and build-your-own options.
The pizza place also has a rotating selection of menu items from salads to wings. House-made hard seltzers, Mexican pizza toppings and salads are also available at Zapapizza, which donates 10% of its profits to charities.
With a five-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Zapapizza seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Deborah M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 18, wrote, "Had a couple of slices. Delicious. One was pepperoni, the other had french fries on it. It pushed all the buttons of food cravings."
And Kathy M. wrote, "This place has the best of both worlds — want pizza you already know and love? There's a delicious pepperoni pizza or a Margherita slice waiting for you. Want something new and different? There are twists on Italian and Mexican including pizza with hot dogs (spicy and tasty), chilaquiles (which works surprisingly well) and french fries (not too many and delicious). The restaurant itself is bright, cheery and inviting."
Head on over to check it out: Zapapizza is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
