I was taking to an emergency vet clinic by my previous owner because I was having diarrhea, and my owner did not want me anymore. After that, the people at the vet clinic contacted PAWS to help me find my forever home. I have a very independent personality, but I also like to get attention. I will rub up against you as a way to say "please pet me". I like to wander around to explore my environment.

Here's what Hope's friends at House of Mews Rescue think of her:

Hope is amazingly loving and affectionate considering her very difficult start in life. When Hope was found, she was very small and near death. House of Mews Rescue scooped her up and immediately brought her to an animal hospital where she stayed for several days. Along with other health emergencies, everyone believed that Hope would have to loose her right eye. With months of dedication and tender loving care, Hope made a complete recovery and the best part is that her eye was saved.

Taz is a lovable female American shorthair cat being cared for at Kamm's Cat Guardians.

Taz is friendly as can be, and she's happy to keep company with dogs and cats. She's mastered her house-training etiquette. Her vaccinations are up to date, and she is spayed.

Notes from Taz's caretakers:

Taz was found outside, thin, scared and with an injured eye. She had an ulcer in her right eye, which is healed but that left a scar, so she is unable to see out of that "spot". Otherwise she's a healthy, sweet and playful kitty. Tends to be shy around new people but warms up nicely.
