Downtown gets a new bar: Goodale StationPhoto: Marisa R./Yelp

Looking for a new bar to check out? Look no further than this new arrival. The newcomer to Downtown, called Goodale Station, is located at 77 E. Nationwide Blvd.

Goodale Station serves up wine, beer and both classic and signature cocktails. A Moscow mule and a mint julep are offered on the classic cocktail menu. In terms of original drinks, try the Pioneer with tequila, grapefruit, lime juice and raspberry syrup. Oysters, fried okra and lamb empanadas are also on offer.

With a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new bar seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

John C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 27, wrote, "The restaurant is gorgeous, and the food was full of flavor. The modern take on southern food was amazing. The yellowfin tuna was surprising with the pickled veggies. And the boudin arancini was insanely flavorful. We wanted more of the spicy chili pepper and pickled pepper on top."

Yelper Marisa R. added, “This place is so cool. It's a rooftop bar and open year round. The ambiance is amazing — mid-century modern, full of marble and smells amazing.”

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Goodale Station is open from 4 p.m.–5 p.m. on Monday, 4 p.m.–midnight Tuesday-Thursday and 4 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday-Sunday.
