A new spot to score acai bowls and tea has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Carioca Bowls, the new arrival is located at 1645 N.W. 21st Ave. in Northwest.
At Carioca Bowls, customers have the choice of ordering one of the signature acai bowls or creating their own. From the signature menu, look for the Purista Bowl, topped with figs, cacao nibs, banana and granola, as well as the Yogi Bowl, which comes with toasted coconut, peanut butter, coconut oil, banana and granola. When it comes to drinks, look for coffee, chai and a rotating list of kombucha.

Yelper Takako S. added, “I got the Yogi Bowl, which is loaded with coconut flavor, and I like the option to swap granola for warm oatmeal for a chilly rainy day.”
