Wander over to 622 Broadway East in Capitol Hill and you'll find Carrello, a new Italian spot.

Carrello bills itself as a "modern, rustic Italian restaurant," according to its Facebook page. The spot offers handmade pastas, beef, chicken and lamb.  Diners can order from the menu or select stuzzichini, antipasti, salumi or dessert items as they roll past on carts that circulate the restaurant.

Head over to 7321 Greenwood Ave. North in Phinney Ridge and you'll find Greenhouse Nail Spa, a new nail salon.

The all-natural salon offers 12 different manicure and pedicure options, from the simple Green Lite (trim, shape, aromatherapy hot towel, cuticle care, light hand and forearm massage, with a clear polish or shiny buff) to the luxurious Fruitful (featuring handmade la conner blueberry scrub, Dolly Moo oil, a trim, shape, aromatherapy hot towel, cuticle care, exfoliation and extra hand and forearm massage, with polish or a shiny buff). A new addition to West Seattle, Paper Boat Booksellers is a bookstore that's located at 6040 California Ave. SW, Suite A.

The store offers all genres of books, with a kids section and spots across the store to sit down and read. In addition to books, the store also sells accessories, gift bags, local guides and maps. PCC Community Markets

PCC Community Markets is a grocery store, health market and deli, that's made its debut at 2749 California Ave. SW in West Seattle.

This location, one of 13 in the area, is re-opening after a lengthy remodel. The co-op offers organic produce, meats, cheeses and seafood sourced from farms and fisheries in the Pacific Northwest. The store also has weekly culinary courses, for both adults and children, with classes ranging from breadmaking to sushi.

Asian Cajun Vegan

Asian Cajun Vegan is a food truck and Cajun/Creole and Asian fusion spot, that recently opened its doors at 3002 Beacon Ave. South in Beacon Hill.

According to the business's website, the food truck serves up "unique plant-based fusion foods." On the menu, look for vegan chicken and okra gumbo, as well as vegan wings and vegan shrimp (with sweet chili, garlic sesame, barbecue or buffalo sauc). Side options include golden fried rice, black eyed-pea jambalaya and cabbage salad.
