6 cuddly kittens to adopt in ClevelandPhotos: Petfinder

Interested in adopting a pet — or just looking at some fluffy felines near you up for adoption? There are dozens of deserving kittens up for adoption at animal shelters in and around Cleveland.

Animal shelters and pet rescue groups work hard to care for unhoused pets and connect them to loving homes. Hoodline used data from Petfinder to power this roundup of kittens currently available for adoption.

(Details like pet availability, training, vaccinations and other features are based on data provided by Petfinder and may be subject to change; contact the shelter for the latest information.)

Buster, tabby and domestic shorthair mix

Buster is a lovable male tabby and domestic shorthair kitten currently residing at House of Mews Rescue.

He's been vaccinated and is house-trained.

He was found in Montville with his four siblings in a wood pile. Buster was the tiniest of the five but has always been the most playful. (For more on two of those siblings, see the next two items). He is good with other cats and loves being around people.

She will get along great with your other cats. Her vaccinations are up to date and she is house-trained.

Harper's current caretakers say:

Farrah, calico

Farrah is a sweet female calico kitten in the care of The Euclid Beach Cat Project.

Farrah is ready to make friends, and she gets along well with other cats. Fear not: She's already house-trained and has had all of her shots.

Farrah's current caretakers say:

Farrah is a beautiful 4-month-old calico who came from an outdoor cat community close to downtown Cleveland and near a college. Sadly, many college students leave their animals behind and unfixed when they are done with school. People that live in that neighborhood are left to try and save them. It is not a very wealthy neighborhood so feeding is about all they can do. We are working tirelessly to fix as many animals in that neighborhood as we can and take in as many friendlies as we can. Farrah is one of the lucky ones! She is super-well adjusted, loves to play and loves her kitty friends, especially Harper (see previous item).

Simba, tabby

Simba is a handsome male tabby kitten being cared for at Kamm's Cat Guardians.

This guy loves to socialize — he gets along well with dogs, cats and children. He has had all his shots and is already house-trained.

Simba's current caretakers say:

He's a sweet, fun-loving little boy who loves to play and eat. He is very outgoing and loves to play and wrestle with his other kitten buddies.
