A new wine and craft cocktail bar has debuted in the Brewery District. Called Law Bird, it's at 740 S. High St.

According to local reports, Law Bird is the brainchild of husband-and-wife team Annie Williams Pierce and Luke Pierce. Its offerings include a selection of wines and craft cocktails. Try the Logistics of Lust, made with sherry and campari, or the Rambler Highball, with scotch, plum wine, sherry and soda. Small plates and snacks are also on offer and include bread served with whipped honey butter, a mushroom risotto and burrata with beets, radish, cucumber and caper.

With a five-star rating out of one review on Yelp so far, the new bar has made a good impression.

Yelper Marsh W. wrote, “Doesn't get any better. Great drinks, service and location. A fantastic addition to the area.”

Law Bird is open 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 4 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday; and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. (It's closed on Tuesdays.)
