The eatery, a "micro food hall" that's the brainchild of celebrity chef Brian Malarkey, offers grilled breakfast items, hot and cold sandwiches, mahalo, combo plates and greens or grains salads.
With a 3.5-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, Herb & Ranch is still finding its footing.
Sue B., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 18, wrote, "This place is clean, fresh and trendy. I ordered the bacon hash (braised bacon, cauliflower, smashed potato, carrot, parsley and scallion) and it was amazing. They also have a veggie hash available."
And Tam V. wrote, "I had the protein plate with a steak skewer covered in chimichurri sauce and a side of charred broccoli with parmesan pesto and the street corn. The beef was a little tougher than I would like, and the chimichurri had too much salt. The parmesan pesto on the broccoli was also too salty."
