A new Mexican and southern spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called High Horse, the new arrival is located at 208 Wolfe St. in Central.
High Horse offers "Mexi-Kosher," cuisine, or Mexican kosher food. The menu features bacon-wrapped dates, grilled oysters and cornbread, as well as a crab guacamole served with pork rinds. The spot also offers a variety of desserts, from bread pudding to cherry pie.
The new cocktail bar has already attracted fans thus far, with a four-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Jeff S. wrote, “Just amazing! We had the bone marrow with chili crab and the bacon to start. Both were mind blowing. For mains we had the salmon and the spare ribs! The salmon had a nice balance of heat and acid! Such a treat.”
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. High Horse is open from 5–11 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 5 p.m.–2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
