Local fans of department stores are in luck: A new Target outpost has opened for business at 2650 Broadway in Waverly.
Target has over 1,800 stores in the U.S. in all 50 states. Like the national retailer's other locations, the newest store stocks everything from skin-care products and back-to-school supplies to home appliances and children's toys. A built-in CVS Pharmacy is on hand as well.
With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, The new locale has gotten a good response.
Mitzi W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 31, wrote, "Nice to have a Target in downtown Oakland. And yes. It's much bigger inside than one would think."
