A new wine bar and store has made its debut in the neighborhood. Called Garagiste Wine Room & Merchant, the fresh addition is located at 197 E. California Ave., Suite 140, in the Arts District.
The new business, which opened this fall, features an extensive variety of wines, which may be enjoyed on premises or bought by the bottle. Beer is also on offer, as well as a cheese and charcuterie plate. Guests may bring in food if they wish.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar has already made a good impression.
Estrella T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 4, wrote, "The two owners, sommeliers, are so knowledgeable and you can tell how much they love wine."
