Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is teaming up with restaurant Tamba and Dharma Indian Dry Gin for a two-day Diwali celebration running Friday, November 6, through Saturday, November 7. The festivities take place at Hard Shake, the hotel's 23rd-floor lounge overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, with both evenings featuring festive décor and those signature Strip views.
According to KTNV, the celebration will roll out specialty cocktails and other festive experiences across the two nights, with live music on Friday. Friday evening is set to be hosted by Dharma Gin co-founders Emily Shah and Mena Massoud, with passed hors d'oeuvres, specialty cocktails, and live music, plus a chance for guests to meet the founders themselves.
What's on the Menu Each Night
Saturday's event shifts the focus slightly, pairing light bites and specialty cocktails with à la carte selections from Tamba. The same evening includes a complimentary Dharma Indian Dry Gin tasting, giving guests a chance to sample the spirit behind the weekend's cocktail menu.
Tamba's involvement carries some extra weight this year. The restaurant is described by BizBash as a 2026 James Beard Foundation Award finalist, a detail that adds a bit of culinary pedigree to the weekend's à la carte offerings and overall menu design.
A Rooftop Setting With a View
Hard Shake's perch on the 23rd floor of Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas makes it a natural stage for the celebration, with the Strip serving as a backdrop for both nights' festive décor. The celebration pairs the venue with Tamba's cuisine and Dharma's cocktails across two nights.
The two-day run features live music, specialty cocktails, and an opportunity to meet Dharma's founders in person on opening night.
