Polly, chihuahua

Polly is a female chihuahua dog in the care of Animal Rescue of Fresno.

Polly gets along well with other dogs. Animal Rescue of Fresno, however, wants to place her in a home without small children. Fear not: She is already house-trained. Polly is spayed and vaccinated. Polly is a special needs pet, so please inquire about her specific care requirements.

From Polly's current caretaker:

Polly arrived to ARF from a kill shelter. She appears to be housebroken if you get her out in time. She does like to snuggle in the bed if you let her. She must have had that in her prior life because a few days at a foster home and she wanted up on all the furniture. She is not into eating alone and she likes when you sit with her. She will need to have soft food as she had a lot of her teeth needed to be removed due to mobility issues. She does become protective of her person, but she has been learning that is not okay and does need time to warm up to strangers. She gets along with other dogs, but if she could be an only dog she would love that as well. She is estimated to be about 6 years old.

Lamb Chop, poodle

Lamb Chop is a sweet female poodle dog being kept at Animal Rescue of Fresno.

Lamb Chop loves other dogs. She's already vaccinated and spayed. Have no fear: She's already house-trained. Lamb Chop is a special needs pet, so please inquire about her specific care requirements.

Notes from Lamb Chop's caretakers:

Meet Lamb Chop, a little girl who is wanting to be your lap dog. We estimate her to be about 10 years old. She wants it to be all about her. She has no issues with other dogs. When she arrived at ARF she was a mess. We got her spayed and had her teeth taken care of. In addition, she had some tumors we had removed and she is healing nicely. She is now ready for her forever family.

Percy, terrier and miniature pinscher mix

Percy is a darling male terrier and miniature pinscher mix being kept at Animal Compassion Team of California.

He has been vaccinated and neutered.

From Percy's current caretaker:

Hi, my name is Percy and I just want to start off by saying how badly I want my forever home. I have watched my siblings all get adopted, and have been waiting three whole months for my forever home. I think I am so handsome and I know how much love I will give my forever family! I am great with all dogs and cats and am great off leash. I am all snuggles and love and very well behaved. I am extremely quiet too and would excel in any type of home, either a family who has kiddos and other dogs, a family who has no kids or other dogs or a family who is older and just wants to snuggle me all day. I am open to anything because I love everyone and everything.

Spike, chihuahua mix

Spike is a male chihuahua mix staying at Animal Rescue of Fresno.

Spike is happy to keep company with other dogs. Spike is already neutered and vaccinated.

Spike's current caretakers say:

Spike is an awesome little dude who arrived at ARF via a hoarding mess which was beyond this boys control. He takes a little bit to warm up and then he loves spending time with you. Since he has been through a lot, little kids might scare him. It would be best to be in a quiet home where he can be spoiled.
