The Sacramento City College Choirs will once again present their annual Festival of Music at the acoustically pristine All Saints Episcopal Church. Joining our choirs this year is two-time Grammy Award Winning Native American Flautist, Mary Youngblood. Also featured on our concert is the premiere of a new work written by our Vocal Ensemble students along with resident composer and Bay Area musician, Derek Sup.

Virginia Ayers Dawson for 'The Season's Reason'

As the Holiday season begins, Virginia and her band, AyerPlay, will share songs that remind us of the true reasons of the season: Gifts of love, hope, joy, peace, compassion, faith and unity. Musicians include Chan Louie on piano and John Armato on drums. The evening will consist of familiar tunes, as well as some of Virginia's original compositions which she will be sharing for the first time publicly. Of course, a few holiday favorites will be included to spark a bit of seasonal cheer.
