Señor Sisig is a fast-casual spot offering Filipino-Mexican fusion fare.

As we previously reported, this is the first brick-and-mortar restaurant for Señor Sisig, which launched as a food truck in 2010 (it still operates several trucks around the city). Taking over the space of The Blue Fig, the new spot features back patio seating and an expanded menu, which includes beer and wine.

Señor Sisig specializes in Mexican street food favorites with a Filipino twist. Check out the tacos, burritos and nachos loaded with sisig (Filipino-style pork) and featured items like the Sisig Nacho-rrones and the Sisig Crunchwrap (veggie-friendly options are available, too). For dessert, there's ube horchata soft serve.

With a four-star Yelp rating out 33 reviews, Señor Sisig has been getting positive attention.

Yelp reviewer Everett M. wrote, "Brick-and-mortar or food truck, it doesn't matter: Señor Sisig slaps every time. They consistently manage to pack so much flavor and deliciousness into every single bite, which is the reason they have such a large following."

Señor Sisig is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.

Naked Chicken's current Yelp rating of four stars out of five reviews indicates the newcomer has received a warm welcome so far.
