A new lounge, cocktail bar and Mediterranean spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Downtown, called Devil May Care, is located at 500 W. Sixth St.

Devil May Care serves up raw crudo, vegetable dishes, grilled entrees and cocktails in a chic atmosphere. Favorite cocktails include De  España, a martini made with with Spanish olive oil, washed gin, Manzanilla sherry and Atxa Blanco Vermouth. On the menu, expect to see items like charred octopus, vegan Brussels sprouts with chorizo falafel and Sumac honey and a gluten-free lamb rib with cucumber yogurt, barbecue sauce and a pomegranate glaze.

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new lounge has been warmly received by patrons.

Brittan L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 8, wrote, "This place won't disappoint. Amazing food and drinks. Must try the deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts and the hummus... the pita bread is to die for! Favorite drink on the menu would be De España. Great music and all around great vibe. Can't wait to go back!"

Yelper Andrew M. added, “The mood and decor are very SoHo London, the crowd is unpretentiously beautiful, the music is uplifting and the food is stellar. ... Excellent lamb, ribs, haloumi, massive prawns and probably the freshest octopus I've yet had in a landlocked city. ”

Devil May Care has yet to share its hours online.
