There's a brand-new brewpub in town. Called Forbidden Root, the fresh arrival is located at 4080 Worth Ave. in Easton.

Forbidden Root provides craft beer and New American cuisine, with menu items ranging from ramen seasoned popcorn to a charcuterie plate to chicken wings. According to the business' Facebook page, the business is "dedicated to crafting fine botanic beers using all-natural ingredients."

Forbidden Root is off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp.

Fawn S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 5, wrote, "Forbidden Root is known for brewing beers with ingredients such as herbs, spices, flowers, fruits and roots. Their beers are unique but flavorful and outstanding. I sometimes describe it 'like a party in my mouth' after taking a sip of their brews."

And Adam N. wrote, "Decor is fantastic. Beer is excellent and quite diverse in offerings (including guest taps), and, although I only ate the wings, they were also wonderful."

Head on over to check it out: Forbidden Root is open from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
