Nordstrom has opened its new flagship store at 225 W. 57th St. in Midtown, bringing with it 10 new food and beverage destinations, including traditional American spot Bistro Verde.
Located on the department store's fifth floor, this contemporary, family-friendly bistro is the new seven-story Nordstrom's principal restaurant. On the menu, you'll find updated classics, like grilled Caesar salad with Cotija cheese, fried calamari with banana peppers and sweet chili sauce, a house burger with peppercorn aioli, sake-marinated cod, steak frites, pizza, pasta and more. There's also a full selection of beer, wine and cocktails. On the weekends, Bistro Verde serves brunch.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp so far, Bistro Verde seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
