Pierozek specializes in handmade pierogi and produces about 2,000 of the traditional dumplings daily ("Pierozek" means "little pierogi" in Polish).
The sister restaurant of pierogi spot PierozeQ in Czestochowa, Poland (the owner's hometown), this cozy eatery offers pierogi in savory and sweet varieties, with authentic fillings like pork shoulder, mushrooms, sauerkraut, potato, cheese and fruit. Also on the menu are croquettes and cups of borscht, as well as a selection of local craft and Polish beer.
The fresh addition has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp.
