A new bar and arcade has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Penn Quarter, called The Boardwalk, is located at 507 Seventh St. NW.

Inspired by boardwalks up and down the coast, The Boardwalk features arcade games such as Skee-Ball, foosball and pinballs. It serves craft cocktails, draft beers, hot dogs, popcorn, corn dogs and cotton candy.

With a three-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new bar has received mixed feedback, but it's still early days.

Mike U., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 9, wrote, "There are still plenty of beers on tap, but it appears the whiskey selection has been pared down. The addition of food was nice to see. The crown jewel is clearly the game room downstairs."

And Madison H. wrote, "Games were fun to play and not rigged, drinks were OK but nothing special. Lots of blast-from-the-past games."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: The Boardwalk is open from 4 pm - 2 am Monday-Friday and 2 pm - 2 am on weekends.
