Meet Jack Frost! Jack is a well behaved 10-year-old. He came into Chicago animal control as a chipped stray but his family did not claim him. He was clearly someone’s dog and had been accustomed to living in a home. Jack is totally potty trained and does fine in a crate but doesn’t really need one. He’s currently in foster care with two older dogs and four cats. He doesn’t pay much attention to the dogs at all. Once in a while he’ll decide to chase a cat but for the most part doesn’t give them much attention either. He requires a very comfy orthopedic dog bed and would love to sleep in bed with you. Jack’s favorite thing in the whole world are butt scratches and he will let you know when he wants them.

Bella is a female Basset hound dog currently residing at Basset Buddies Rescue.

Bella is friendly as can be — she'll get along great with your other dogs. Bella is already spayed, and she has had all her shots. She is already house-trained.

Meet sweet Willow. She came to Shar Pei Savers after we were contacted by a shelter who took her in. She arrived in terrible condition. She is eight years old, and came to the shelter with worms, covered in fleas and just overall neglected. She was severely underweight and could not even walk. Willow had been bred several times during her hard life, and because she was so neglected and unhealthy, her last litter did not survive. The shelter took great care of her, and got her started on her road to recovery.
