Looking to chow down on some Mediterranean fare? A new spot has you covered. The newcomer to Ohio City, called ALEA, is located at 2912 Church Ave.

ALEA offers modern Mediterranean dishes. On the menu, look for tuna crudo with egg yolk and capers, Spanish mackerel with fennel and pine nuts and pork rib chop with roasted grapes. Add grilled oysters or chicken liver crostini to your meal. Craft cocktails and wine are also available.

With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, ALEA is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Yelper Bobby A. wrote, “ALEA is the best restaurant in Cleveland. Each plate we ordered really delivered: simple ingredients, fantastic preparations, made with love. We can't wait to return!”

And Britt M. wrote, "Try the chicken, the sweet potato yogurt dish and the bone marrow. You will not be disappointed."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. ALEA is open from 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday and 5 p.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday and Sunday.)
