Colorado Crust Pizza

Colorado Crust Pizza recently opened at 6660 Delmonico Drive, Suite F, in Northwest Colorado Springs.

"We are a locally owned and operated pizzeria proudly slinging pies on the corner of Rockrimmon Boulevard and Delmonico Drive. Our classic crust is made in-house daily using imported Italian flour to create a truly unique pizza crust," the restaurant states on its Facebook page.

New to 218 N. Tejon St., Suite 100, downtown is Mood, a tapas bar.

On the hunt for a New American and fast food spot? Raising Cane's has opened its latest outpost at 5717 Barnes Road in East Colorado Springs.

Chicken fingers are the specialty of the restaurant, which also serves crinkle-cut french fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and Cane's special sauce.

1350 Distilling

Another newcomer is 1350 Distilling, a distillery at 520 E. Pikes Peak Ave. in Central Colorado Springs. So far, it has earned five stars out of four reviews on Yelp.

The distillery produces rum, vodka and bourbon and also offers tours and tastes. The spirits are available in a number of retail liquor stores in the area.

Docta Rasta

Now open at 2919 W. Colorado Ave. in Old Colorado City is Docta Rasta, a cannabis dispensary and a spot to score vitamins, supplements and more. With a five-star rating out of six reviews, Yelpers are enthusiastic about Docta Rasta so far.

"Docta Rasta specializes in 100% all-natural hemp essentials," the business's Facebook page states. "Full-spectrum hemp oils, capsules, skin care and pain management essentials."

Creams, bath bombs and alternative medicines are among the shop's many products.
