San Francisco's health care industry is experiencing strong job growth. Local employers posted 176 new jobs over the past week and 578 in the last month, ranking second among local industries, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

The health care industry also came in fourth in terms of local employers adding new jobs. In the past month, 59 companies listed open jobs for San Francisco-based workers.

One of the top employers hiring locally in health care is MGA Healthcare Inc. Other top companies seeking local hires in the industry include Procare USA. According to one of its recent job openings, "Procare USA is a national medical staffing agency specializing in the recruitment and placement of all medical professionals, such as registered nurses, allied healthcare professionals, doctors, pharmacists and many more."

Jobs posted by MGA Healthcare Inc. in the past month in San Francisco included technicians, medical assistants and phlebotomists, while Procare USA was hiring registered nurses, and The People Link Corp. sought physical therapists.
