Washington is seeing strong demand for managers' skills. Employers in the industry posted 218 new jobs over the past week, and 830 in the last month, more than for any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local manager also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 178 companies listed open jobs for Washington-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local managers is Party HQ Family Fun Center.

Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include the Council for Professional Recognition. 

Jobs posted by Party HQ Family Fun Center in the past month in the area also included dishwashers, bartenders and technicians, while the Council for Professional Recognition was hiring accountants and marketing managers.
