Milwaukee jobs spotlight: Recruiting for technicians going strong

Hiring for technicians in Milwaukee is going strong. Employers in the industry posted 78 new jobs over the past week, and 302 in the last month, ranking second among top job categories in the local area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local technician also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 101 companies listed open jobs for Milwaukee-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local technicians is Engauge Workforce Solutions. "At Engauge (formally known as Nissen Staffing Continuum), we believe meaningful work can change lives," according to one of the company's recently posted job openings.

Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include Amato Automotive Group and National Carwash Solutions.

Jobs posted by Engauge Workforce Solutions in the past month in the area also included production associates, welders and machine operators, while Amato Automotive Group was hiring service managers, service advisors and drivers.
