To find out who made the list, we looked at Dallas businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month and tracked businesses that consistently increased their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers, compared to past performance.

This bar and gastropub is trending, in comparison to other businesses categorized as "Bars" on Yelp.

Citywide, bars saw a median 1.5% increase in new reviews over the past month, but Ebb & Flow saw a 37.9% increase, maintaining a convincing four-star rating throughout. Moreover, on a month-to-month basis, Ebb & Flow's review count increased by more than 140%.

It's not the only trending outlier in the bar category: The Crab Station has seen a 12.8% increase in reviews, while Sushi de Handroll and Las Palmas have seen 5.2 and 10.2% increases, respectively.
