Las Vegas is seeing strong demand for sales representatives' skills. Employers in the industry posted 206 new jobs over the past week, and 582 in the last month, more than for any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local sales representative also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 159 companies listed open jobs for Las Vegas-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local sales representatives is Family First Life. "Our mission at Family First Life is to make the families we protect and the families of our agents our number one priority," according to one of the company's recently posted job openings.

Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include US Health Advisors McCants Region. According to one of its recent job openings, "... Nowhere else in America will you find a company that is more committed to your success than USHA (a UnitedHealthcare company)."

Jobs posted by Family First Life in the past month in the area also included insurance agents, while US Health Advisors McCants Region was hiring managers, and Emineo Marketing Solutions sought sales associates, marketing representatives and customer service representatives.
