Hungry? A new neighborhood French spot has you covered. Located at 120 W. 55th St. in Midtown, the newcomer is called Quality Bistro.
Quality Bistro is the first French restaurant from Quality Branded, the restaurant group behind local steakhouse chain Quality Eats and a half dozen other eateries in the city. The spacious, bi-level bistro boasts 18-foot ceilings, room to accommodate nearly 200 guests, two private dining rooms and a full menu of French steak and seafood dishes from chef Antonio Mora.
You can expect classic starters like French onion soup, steak tartare and escargot, raw bar platters with oysters and cold cracked lobster. Entrees include cuts of filet mignon, grilled branzino and tuna steak. For dessert, there are favorites like chocolate mousse and Quality Bistro's extensive drink list includes beer, signature cocktails and wine by the glass and by the bottle.
With a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Mike C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 31, wrote, "This is another hit from the Quality Branded team."
Yelper Axel T. noted, "I will definitely come back. I really recommend this fantastic place!"
